Often referred to as a 'TV' case for fairly obvious reasons,making it a distinctive and sought-after timepiece known for its unique and unusual case shape, which resembles a vintage television or monitor. This model ref 166.0213 Omega Seamaster 'TV' case was was produced by Omega in the mid-to-late 1970s.
In truly immaculate condition and running to +/- 0 Seconds per day, so unbelievably accurate, this example does not look like it has been worn at all. The 35mm stainless steel case shows almost no marks and retains all its crisp lines. The dial changes shade in the light and it's a wonderful piece on the wrist. The applied hour markers are polished and give it a nice 3D effect in the light.
This watch features a rare non-integrated original Omega Bracelet, so strap changes are easy and there is lots of flexibility to wear with leather, rubber or NATO straps.
